Information |
The
179 is Tokheim's basic gasoline control console. "Modular
Electronic Merchandising System" (MEMS) is Tokheim's general
designation for consoles and POSs.
|
The
184/185 console was Tokheim's first console designed to sell
more than gasoline. The two models are essentially the same,
the main difference is that the 185 includes department keys
(twelve rows of two department keys to the right of the numeric
keypad).

The
illustration above shows a 185 console installed on a 190
printer base and with a cash drawer. Either the 184 or the
185 can be installed on the 190 base.
